All About Me

All Dressed Up

I figured the easiest way to tell everyone a bit about myself would be to put it on a seperate page. So here it is. A seperate page about me.

Anything I have to say about the futbol world can be found here.  For the most part I will concentrate on futbol in the Americas, more specifically CONCACAF as it's a little difficult to for me to understand the Spanish on the CONMEBOL website.  Hopefully in time I will be able to bring a bit more.

I support Toronto FC of the MLS, Bolton Wanderers of the EPL, and U.N.A.M. de Pumas of the MFL.  Why shouldn't I support Toronto?  I despise Boston, and the Red Bull New York (or New York Red Bull, whichever it is) doesn't really do anything for me either.  Consequently, I decided on a new franchise.  A new team that may be awful, (although not as bad as Chivas or Real Salt Lake their first seasons) but will have a tough time getting last in the Eastern Conference.  I chose the Super Whites some six or seven years ago when I first started watching the EPL.  There's a local town called Bolton Landing where I live, and I admire Big Sam for what he's accomplished with the small funds he has to work with.  Besides, how can you not love any team El-Hadji Diouf is on?  Thirdly I support Pumas.  These guys kind of found me.  Univision plays their games almost consistently, and at first I watched it because those were the only games I got. But as the season progressed I was impressed by their younger players and the dedication they seem to show to the team.  They may not be a world class team, but they're fun to watch.

Currently I also write some pieces for SoccaCritics, and I've been writing for TheOffside on a Bolton Wanderers Blog. Check them out.
